Version 4.0 expected to be ready for release in December! New features:
 Added support for a second projector feed that can be used as a choir feed or second-language feed. Requires a third monitor output on the computer. Supports songs, bible verses, announcements, messages, 'show picture', 'Show logo', 'Clear words', and 'Clear all'. Video and transitions are not supported.
 
 Added a timer/alarm feature. Includes the current time, alarm, timer (countdown or countup), and 'Time on current item' displays. Visual notification is via the mini-projector view in the Worship time window with an optional audio beep and optional notification on the projector via the message feature. Also includes a five-minute warning, and 'Time remaining' projector messages options.
 
 Added a 'Network remote-control' mode that allows one computer running Worship Him in 'Master' mode to control up to 3 other computers running Worship Him in 'Slave' mode. The computers running in slave mode will automatically display/project what the master computer projects. The slave computers can be set to 'Display in primary monitor' allowing a laptop computer to be used as a choir feed. Network mode supports songs, bible verses, announcements, pictures, messages, clear all, clear words, and show logo. The master and slave computers must be networked together (local network) and the master computer must have file-sharing enabled.
 
 You can now add any type of media to a queue list by right-clicking the queue list and selecting 'Add xx...' from the popup menu. This can be done in the Worship time or queue lists windows.
 
 Added 'Edit selected item' to the Queue list's right-click menu in the Queue lists and Worship time windows. Allows you to easily edit bible verses, announcements, 'Launch web', etc.
 
 You can now set the 'Queue list autorun' time for all queue list items, not just announcements. To select the amount of time to display a queue list item in 'Queue list autorun' mode, right-click it in the queue list and from the popup menu select 'Set queue list autorun time for selected item'. Queue list autorun is used to automatically loop thru the queue list for announcements, slideshows, etc.
 
Suitcase files can now include the projector display templates, and background pictures/video clips that the suitcase queue list items use.
 
Eliminated flicker in projected image when using 'Quick select default setup'.
 
Changed (simplified) the way some projector options are selected for songs, announcements, and bible verses.
 
Fixed adding a queue list item sometimes adding two of the same item.
 
Added a 'Wireless presenter mode' for greater compatibility with PowerPoint wireless controllers.
 
Added a multi-monitor help window when only one monitor detected.
 
Added a prompt to automatically import all of the public domain songs.

Default location for graphics has been moved from a graphics folder in the program installation folder to the shared documents (Public documents in Vista)/Worship Him/graphics folder.
 
Queue lists created with previous versions of Worship Him are not compatible with version 4.0.

The price of Worship Him will increase to $199.95 with the release of version 4.0, but 4.0 will still be a free upgrade to anyone who purchased Worship Him after April 15 2005, or that have upgraded since their original purchase.

7/28/08: Version 3.97 released. New features:
Fixed Add/edit textboxes sometimes scrolling when the Add/edit window is resized.



7/16/08: Version 3.96 released. New features:
You can now select the number of Verse and chorus/bridge textbox columns in the Worship time and Add/edit windows. Worship Him will automatically select a recommended initial setting based on your screen resolution.

Improved reliability of format buttons and line-length indicators in Add/edit and Bible verse windows.

Like songs, Bible verse's initial font size now auto-adjusts to match projector's screen width.

Added more help to the projector setups window.

Added option for indenting Bible verse text to line up with verse numbers when 'Include verse numbers' and 'Each verse on a new line' options are selected.

When selecting a Bible passage from a queue list, the Bible verse window's book, chapter, and verse selection boxes are now set to match the passage text. This makes it easier to quickly modify and re-select the passage if needed.



5/5/08: Version 3.95 released. New features:
Improved 'Launch other' feature: added the ability to send keystrokes to the launched application window and added an adjustable delay before moving to projector's display or sending keystrokes to the 'Other' Window. This can be useful when the launched application requires a special keypress to activate a desired feature like fullscreen view, or to start playing, etc. 'Launch other' is no longer supported in macros.

Added 'Launch web' feature to facilitate launching web content. Includes 'Launch in projector's display' and adjustable delay and keystrokes features like in 'Launch other' described above.

Added 'Auto start slideshow' to PowerPoint launch options. Automatically starts a PowerPoint presentation after launching. Especially useful for automatically starting PowerPoint 2003 + higher presentations (*.ppt or *.pptx) that are set to display in monitor two and use the 'Presenter view'.

Added support for Open Office Impress slide shows. Slide shows can be launched on the fly, or added to queue lists. Slide shows can optionally start automatically after launching.

Fixed video backgrounds for announcements not auto-looping.

Added the option to password-protect song editing.

Suitcase files and queue lists from previous versions are not compatible with version 3.95.

Added 'Edit projector setup files' button to the Announcement builder window.

Fixed printing only one copy when more than one selected under Windows Vista.

Added transitions: Quarters in and out, Halves in and out, and Halves-slide in and out.

Improvements to nursery alert/message feature:
Message can now be set to top, center, bottom position.
Select from steady, flashing, or scrolling message styles.
Selectable font style and size.

Added a 'Use large margins' option in the Worship time window's 'Options', 'Projector display options' menu. When selected it keeps song, bible verse, and announcement text from extending as far to the edge of the screen. Good for projectors or genlock devices that would otherwise cut-off the edges due to over-scan.

2/4/2008 Version 3.9 released. New features:

Added emphasis to ‘Next queue’ indicator.

Fixed bug that sometimes left the Worship time window disabled after exiting the Projector setups window.

Added ‘Save queue list’ and ‘Save queue list as’ to queue list right-click popup menus in the Worship time and Queue list windows.

Added ‘Backup now’ button to the auto-backups window. Allows you to force an auto-backup at any time, or to backup your song file to another location like a memory stick.

Added the ability to limit the ‘Queue list auto-run’ feature to just certain items within the queue list. (You no longer have to create a separate queue list for your looping announcements.)

Operator notes can now be used for any item in a queue list, Not just songs.

Altered order of 'Done' 'Cancel' and 'Apply' buttons to comply with Window's standards.

You can now use the Delete key to remove queue list, CD play list, and song play order items.

Number of queue list items limit raised from 100 to 500.

Improved Suitcase pack/unpack feature. Queue list items from the following folders are automatically placed in the equivalent destination folders even when the actual path on the source computer is different:

My pictures
My video
My music
Shared/public documents
Shared/public pictures
Shared/public video
Shared/public music
Desktop (current user)

Suitcase files packed with previous versions of Worship Him are not compatible with version 3.9, and vice-versa.

Queue lists made with previous versions of Worship Him are not compatible with version 3.9, and vice-versa.


10/7/2007 Version 3.85 released. New features:
Changing fonts in visual preferences window (for user interface display) now affects all major windows and all listboxes and textboxes.
Automatically looping video backgrounds is now optional (on by default).
Drag and drop:
1) In the Queue list and Worship time windows you can now drag and drop songs from the song list to queue list, media files to the queue list, and drag and drop within the queue list to rearrange the order. You can also right-click a queue list and select ‘remove selected item(s)’ to delete items from the queue list.
2) In the Worship time window you can also drag and drop items to the mini-projector screen for projection.
3) You can also use drag and drop when editing a song’s play order and while creating a CD play-list.
Minor bug fixes.


Added the Portuguese JFA-RC Bible version.
